Danny Brown is not only a gap-toothed rhyming sensation that has been adopted by hipsters and diehard rap fanatics but one Wrecking Crew’s favorite emcees since 2010′s The Hybrid (still a better LP than XXX in our mighty opinion). Naturally, we jumped like High Street robbers at the chance to remix Danny’s single “Grown Up“, which featured the Spike Jonze-ian video and Scion seal of approval.

Has-Lo & Zilla Rocca each got behind the boards to chin check “Grown Up” for laughs and a soft pack of Newport. Has-Lo’s remix is analogue grit with a dash of fairy tale grace. Zilla Rocca’s remix is ambient nostalgia battered with breakbeats and vocal clips. Wrecking Crew remixes are never dull.
